Reflection #4

Cable Green‘s talk about Open Licensing and Open Educational Resources was particularly interesting to me once he started talking about open procurement. I work in procurement for a school district and I am very excited to present this idea to my district. I may try to reach out to Cable to see if he can connect me with some of his contacts that have been successful in that kind of procurement. As of right now, I know textbook procurement is a huge sore spot for both our elementary and secondary schools.

It was also interesting hearing about Creative Commons licensing as I have many friends who are online creators and they are always looking for ways to protect their content.
